Airport Information
Runway Direction 08R/26L 4.000m x 60m
Runway Direction 08L/26R 4.000m x 60m

Runway Usage
The two runways are used independent from each other. Landings and departures are performed on both runways. The northern runway is normally used by airplanes coming from the north e.g. North America while the southern runway is used by airplanes coming from the south e.g. Spain. But there is no general rule at all. Often planes are coming from the north and landing on the southern runway. Cargo planes and Business jets are often using the southern runway as the cargo and Business jets aprons are located near the southern runway.

Terminals
Terminal 1 All other carriers
Terminal 2 Lufthansa and Star Alliance partners

Restrooms only available at the terminal buildings or restaurants and gas stations around the airport
Drinks/Food prepare enough food for the whole day and take cold/hot drinks with you.
Clothing don’t undervalue especially in December and January the temperatures in Munich. Freezing temperatures over the whole day are not uncommon.
